At todays UN Security Council briefing, the Permanent Representative of Greece, Ambassador Evangelos Sekeris
➡ commended OPCW for its efforts on the file of Syria chemical weapons
➡ stressed the importance of securing the chemical weapons-related locations and materials therein
➡ welcomed the recent exchange of visits between OPCW and Syria
➡ called on Syria to engage constructively with OPCW’s Technical Secretariat, in order to close the remaining 19 outstanding issues
➡ encouraged the unity of the Council into upholding Resolution 2118 (2013)
