At today’s UNSC briefing on Gaza, the Permanent Representative of Greece, Ambassador Sekeris:
➡ called for the immediate, full, unhindered flow of humanitarian aid at scale into all parts of the Strip, as the entire population of Gaza is at critical risk of famine and as the partial resumption of aid is hardly sufficient
➡ expressed its grave concern over the attack on civilians, including children and humanitarian aid workers
➡ underscored the importance of the negotiations aiming at achieving a permanent and sustainable ceasefire and the release of all hostages
➡ stressed that the June Conference presents a unique opportunity to revitalize the political process towards the two-state solution, according to relevant UNSCRs
