- Warmly welcomed the ceasefire and hostage release agreement.
- Stressed that full implementation of the agreement is an important first step for establishing enduring stability in the wider region
- Expressed reliance upon the prospect of a Two-State solution and of Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace and security, based on relevant UNSC Resolutions.
- Commended the USA, Egypt and Qatar for their tireless mediation efforts.
