Greece condemns yesterday’s (31.10.24) intercontinental ballistic missile launch by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, which violates international legitimacy and the pertinent resolutions of the UN Security Council. This action does not contribute to stability and does not promote good neighbourly relations. On the contrary, it poses a threat to regional and global peace and security.
On November 5, the Permanent Mission of Greece joined the Missions of Denmark, Equador, France, Japan, Malta, Panama, South Korea, Slovenia, Switzerland, the U.K. and the U.S. in condemning North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile launch. The Hellenic Republic remains fully committed to diplomacy for the complete verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
