Warmest congratulations to His Excellency Philemon Yang of Cameroon, on his election as the seventy-ninth President of the General Assembly. Greece vows to work meticulously with the new leadership (2024-2025) to address the crucial issues of our time. As a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for 2025/26, the Hellenic Republic will work with the General Assembly to protect and build trust, new partnerships, smart and transformative solutions as well as new impetus for creativity and solidarity.
