Today, the United Nations Security Council under the Greek Presidency and the United Nations General Assembly held the election of a member of the International Court of Justice.
Mr Mahmoud Daifallah Hmoud (Jordan) received the required majority in both the UNSC (15 votes) and the UNGA (178 votes) and was duly elected.
