On the occasion of Greece’s presidency of the UN Security Council, Greece designed a cultural event celebrating the distinct beauty that the Seas surrounding us hold. The art exhibition ‘Thalatta’ – Θάλαττα on display at the United Nations Headquarters, presents eleven unique seascapes from major modern Greek artists. Organized in collaboration with the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Gallery – Alexandros Soutsos Museum, Thallata was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and included the presence of Foreign Minister, Mr. George Gerapetritis.The exhibition was presented by Ms Syrago Tsiara, Director of the National Gallery – Alexandros Soutsos Museum.
