Greece’s Permanent Representative Ambassador Evangelos Sekeris, shared a message towards all member states for the trust they bestowed upon us during our tenure as President of the UN Security Council.
‘I would like to express the sincere appreciation of the Delegation of Greece to fellow members of the Council and to the Secretariat of the Council for all the support that they have given us. Indeed, it has been a very busy month, and one in which we rallied to consensus on several important issues within our purview.
We could not have done it alone and without the hard work, support and positive contributions of every Delegation and the Representatives of the Secretariat, including the technical support team, conference service officers, interpreters, translators, verbatim reporters and security staff.
As we end our Presidency, I know I can speak on behalf of all Council members, in wishing the Delegation of Guyana good luck in the month of June.’
