This year’s High-Level Week (September 23-27) marks a crucial milestone in the global effort to accelerate progress towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
On September 23, Greece participated in a high-level event hosted by the United States of America focusing on Artificial Intelligence technologies and the way these technologies can influence the well-being and security of people everywhere. The event welcomed remarks by U.S. business leaders and government dignitaries from other countries.
Just months ago, on June 22, the Hellenic Mission to the United Nations participated in the inaugural meeting of the newly established Group of Friends on Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development, an initiative led by the U.S. Mission together with the Permanent Mission of Morocco, following the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the first UN resolution on Artificial Intelligence.
