Adopted: Resolution 2787 (2025) on the Red Sea

The adoption of Resolution 2787 (2025) demonstrates the Security Council’s steadfast determination to address maritime security threats in Yemen and the Red Sea region.  Attacks against commercial and merchant vessels by Houthis have a direct impact on us all and must cease immediately and permanently. Respect for Maritime_Security, Freedom for Navigation and Protection of seafarers must be upheld in full compliance with International Law.

Greece co-penned together with the United States this technical rollover Resolution.
