At today’s UNSC Briefing on Syria, the Permanent Representative of Greece:
↪️ Called for an inclusive Syrian-led and Syrian-owned political process, a key element for Syria’s stability.
↪️ Expressed its concern over the security situation in Sweida and the North-East, a matter which requires our continued vigilance.
↪️ Underlined that the humanitarian situation remains grave and, thus, the implementation of the 2026 Humanitarian Peace and Response Plan is crucial.
↪️ Advocated for the continuous cooperation between Syria and the UN, an indispensable partner for Syria along its path towards recovery and prosperity
