At today’s UNSC Briefing on the Palestinian Question, the Permanent Representative of Greece:
↪️ Highlighted the importance of increasing delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza at scale and proceeding with the implementation of early recovery projects.
↪️ Recognized the important role played by humanitarian actors, including UNRWA, UNICEF and WHO.
↪️ Called for the full disarmament of Hamas and all other armed groups.
↪️ Expressed concern over the increasing and unprecedented settler violence in West Bank and East Jerusalem.
↪️ Reiterated its support for the two-state solution as the only way toward the peaceful coexistence of Israelis and Palestinians.
