At today’s UNSC briefing on Non-Proliferation (Iran – 1737 Committee), the Permanent Representative of Greece:
↪ Stressed that Greece considers the reinstatement of the 1737 Committee as valid and legitimate.
↪ Reiterated Greece’s strong concern regarding Iran’s nuclear program and that Iran must never acquire a nuclear weapon.
↪ Repeated Greece’s unwavering commitment to the nuclear non-proliferation regime, with the IAEA and the NPT as its essential institutional pillars.
