✅ The Security Council adopted Resolution 2801 (13 votes in favor, 2 abstentions) and renewed the mandate of the Sanctions Committee 2140 overseeing the sanctions regime on Yemen for another year, including the relevant mandate of its Panel of Experts.
🇬🇷 At an Explanation of Vote, Greece expressed its conviction that sanctions remain an important tool to deter threats to peace, stability & security of Yemen.
