UN Security Council Debate on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina

At today’s UN Security Council debate on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Palestinian Question, the Permanent Representative of Greece:

↪ Stressed that this year’s 30th Anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords validates the significance of a historic agreement, which laid the foundations of stability and unity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in Southeastern Europe.

↪ Strongly reiterated that the sovereignty, territorial integrity, constitutional order and political independence of BiH must be fully respected.

↪ Welcomed the recent positive developments in the country, which can pave the way towards de-escalation and a sincere dialogue between all actors.

↪ Emphasized that the European integration of the country will ensure the stability and prosperity of all its citizens.

↪ Underscored that Greece will continue to support BiH in its enduring commitment to democracy, rule of law, peace and stability for the benefit of its citizens and the entire region.
