On the occasion of Human Rights Day (10 December), the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations reiterates Greece’s commitment to upholding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. More specifically, Greece not only highlights the indivisibility, interdependence, and interrelatedness of all human rights, but also recognizes the importance of human rights’ role in conflict prevention.
Additionally, according to the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations, Greece underscores its commitment to ensuring the protection of human rights in the country’s upcoming membership to the United Nations Security Council for the biennium 2025/26.
