Arriving at the Meeting of European Union Foreign Ministers (September 23), on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis stated that “we are going to discuss Ukraine with the new Foreign Minister and reiterate our unwavering support for Ukraine. This is not a simple war. This is a war against revisionism. This is a war that concerns all of us.”

“Here in New York, we will discuss this week about Europeans’ determination to present our values, the European values, concerning International Law, and peaceful resolution of disputes worldwide. And, of course, our commitment towards prosperity and peace worldwide”, he continued.

“Greece is going to be an elected member of the Security Council of the United Nations for the next two years. We aspire to become a constructive bridge between South and North, between West and East”, he concluded.
