The Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (COSP) convenes for its 17th Session, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, from 11-12 June.
As Vice-Chair of “COSP17”, the Hellenic Mission to the UN, together with those of Argentina France and Tunisia had the honor of hosting a Signature event, focusing on the important issue of mobility for students with disabilities.
Addressing the event, the President of the National Accessibility Authority of Greece underlined the importance of digital accessibility and the major role technology can play in the inclusion of students with disabilities in mobility projects and opportunities. Data indicate that currently some six million students travel to study abroad as international students.
