The Charter of the United Nations is the bedrock of the Organization and the perpetual promise to build a collective future for all humanity. Greece, a founding member of the United Nations and an elected member of the Security Council for the 2025-2026 term, joins into celebrating the 80 years of the UN Charter.
We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to continue upholding the principles and values of the Charter signed in San Fransisco as the devastating Second World War was closing to an end, as well as our dedication to the spirit and the letter of the founding document.
